About My Faith
Here you will find articles, sermons, trainings and lessons that are all relevant to my faith. I am a believer in Jesus Christ who died for my sins on the cross. Presently I am attending Tyndale Theological Seminary for my masters in Biblical studies. I have been a youth leader that invests in junior high students for over 8 years upon writing this in 2020. I am also the lead sound technician at my church and have been part of the sound team for over 7 years. More recently I started a Christian Non-profit that helps churches and Christian organizations with their online presence and internet marketing.
All of that being said, I am not qualified or a significant source of information for you to grow your relationship with Christ. Do not supplant your daily reading of the Bible with me or anything. I hope to teach in a way that points to God and helps you to grow closer to Him.
I believe in the inerrancy of scripture that it is fully inspired by God. I agree with the evangelical church's statement of faith for the most part if you are looking to see if I am a worthwhile person to learn from. I think that people with a hermeneutics I do not agree with are still worthwhile to learn from, I just like to know their tendencies and where they are likely to compromise scripture because we are all human. I will try my best to not compromise God's word and to mute my own personal biases as much as possible.
“Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.”
- James 3:1-2
I do not take what I write lightly, but never take what I write as fact. I am a fallible human just like you. Read your Bible, grow in your relationship with God. I simply hope to point you towards Him and push you closer to Him
